There’s this good feeling that comes about you after cleaning your car.
After going through the car wash and getting your precious vehicle cleaned, not only does the beautiful piece of machinery feel good, but you feel just as good.
But depending on what car wash package you pick, there’s a chance you don’t get your interior cleaned. Getting the inside of your car cleaned is just as important as the outside because, well, you’re not driving from the outside … unless if you have a Jeep with no doors.
It happens to all of us, especially me as a college student that tends to leave papers and what not in the car. We don’t mean to leave our car a mess. It’s just human nature that we can’t avoid.
Luckily, there are ways to treat this problem. There are, in fact, ways to keep your car interior clean. Here they are, and this will probably help me as much as it helps you:
Using the vacuum in the car isn’t the same as vacuuming your house. You need to have the proper tools and be a little more careful with the vacuum. Get the floor mats out and use a proper attachment to get the hard-to-reach areas, like around the pedals and underneath the seats.
Cleaning Cloth Seats
If you have cloth seats, it’s more tedious to keep those clean than leather. (It’s usually a quick swipe of a paper towel with leather and the world is safe, but there are plenty of great leather interior cleaning products and wipes out there, too.) With cloth, it’s a little more difficult. Apply the seat cleaner, scrub with as much pressure as possible and let the cleaner sit until it has fully dried. It should be much better than what it was.
Polish the Dashboard
You don’t need to go overboard with the polishing of said dashboard, but a nice amount to make it look much newer than it did before is the key here. Make sure you’ve vacuumed or wiped off any dust or specks of dirt that could create scratches, then apply a few dabs of a specialized interior cleaner on a piece of cloth and go over the dashboard with a few smooth swipes. You’ll notice the changes rather quickly.
Keeping tabs on your car is a must, especially if it’s a new vehicle. You want to ensure it’s kept at its most pristine condition. Your friendly Lexington Buick GMC dealership knows how important this is. Even if you have a truck, it takes just as much time and elbow grease to clean, especially if you’re the owner of new 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 truck. The interior of a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 truck has a top-of-the-line upholstery that includes graphite-colored, rubberized-vinyl floor covering with quality cloth seats. Just keep them clean!
