The GMC Sierra 1500 is a massive beast of a truck. It’s a powerful truck that can tow up to 10,000 pounds with hardly any problems. Not many trucks on this planet can do that.
But while the sheer presence of a GMC Sierra 1500 is already intimidating enough, imagine modding your behemoth pickup truck with absurd altercations.
In all seriousness, I’ve seen more Sierras tricked out with many modifications more than any other vehicle on the road. There’s not really an exact reason as to why this is, but here’s my take: It’s a big, giant truck that can already do a lot. If it can add anymore functions to strike fear in the hearts of many a strong man, then that’s what they’ll do.
We’re going to take a look at some of these amazingly souped-up, modded GMC Sierra 1500s.
Let’s start with this simple fix. A classic all-black GMC Sierra 1500, just lowered to the ground to give yourself more friendly space on the road. There’s something about keeping it simple, while modifying said truck with said simple color that makes it look a bit sleeker. This truck is a good example of taking something that’s already great and turning it to an epic masterpiece.
This modified truck is also low to the ground, but there’s plenty of eye candy on the tires. You can’t not look at the rims. For those who see you driving down the street, watching those rims spin will probably give them headaches. But that kind of modification can go a long way. Once again, using the simple color (black) is visually appealing, which also makes the rims pop out more to the human eye in a good way (even if it gives others a headache).
Personally, I like the idea of colored rims. The jury’s still out for me on rims that are the same color as the car, however. White on white sounds good in theory, but it might get dirtier quicker. This owner doesn’t seem to have any problem keeping this Sierra clean, though! If they ever feel like switching it up in the rims department, I think blue or red rims could make a bold statement on this ride, too.
This appears to be a green Sierra 1500. There’s something to like about this one that’s got a whole lot of modifications that make it look completely blinged-out. I mainly like this truck because of the gloss produces with both its paint and other shiny features.
